The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the WIETE and K L University, based in Vaddeswaram, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, India, took place after the Opening Ceremony of the 3rd WIETE Annual Conference on Engineering and Technology Education, held in Pattaya, Thailand, on Tuesday, 7 February 2012.

The representatives of the signing institutions were K L University Chancellor, Professor Koneru Satyanarayana and Professor Adinarayana Kalanidhi, President of the  WIETE International Academic Advisory Committee (WIETE-IAAC), who signed on behalf of Professor Zenon J. Pudlowski, WIETE Director, absent due to sickness. Professor B.V.A. Rao, Advisor, International Relations at K L University and Dr Dianne Q. Nguyen, WIETE Academic Secretary and Conference Convener, witnessed the signing of the MoU.
