The WIETE global family of engineering and technology educators has entered a new era with the Journal of Security and Sustainability Issues (JSSI) from the General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania, Vilnius, Lithuania, becoming a new partner of the WIETE.

The JSSI is an international peer-reviewed journal, which publishes original research articles that focus on a range areas including interdisciplinary problems involving security and sustainability. It is an international journal published quarterly and cooperatively with institutions identified on the cover of the journal. The Journal can be found at: http://www.lka.lt/index.php/en/217049/

This partnership was conceived and realised by Professor Manuela Tvaronavièienë of the Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU), who is an individual member of the WIETE. It should also be noted that in the past the VGTU was a Partner institution of the UICEE.
