Professor Andrew Nafalski, has been affiliated with the then UICEE and now the WIETE for several decades. He is a Fellow of the WIETE and the Immediate Past President of the WIETE International Academic Advisory Committee (WIETE-IAAC). In recognition of his exceptional academic achievements, as well as personal qualities, he has been awarded an Honorary Professorship of Lublin University of Technology, Lublin, Poland.

His latest award highlights Professor Nafalski’s outstanding contribution to the development of research and teaching potential of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, as well as his personal involvement in the establishment of the Department of Information Technology in this University.

Andrew has been a long-standing member of the Academic Choir of this University that has performed to local and international audiences.

This award coincides with his 50th anniversary of academic work in numerous international universities.
